We're a loosely formed group of residents, former residents, visitors and fisherfolk with generations-long history of fishing and accessing the water off Nanaquaket Bridge. Some of us live in the North End of town, some of us in South Tiverton, some of us on Nanaquaket, and some of us, sadly, now live elsewhere most of the time. We're non-partisan (we need everyone!) We're not seeking donations, political office or notoriety. We're not selling anything either. We just want to be able to keep fishing at the bridge and to help preserve a precious coastal access spot. This site is here to: 1) Help restore full access to the coastline at this spot. 2) Shine some light on how process was circumvented to block access, so we can help decrease the odds of it ever happening again. And finally, while those two things are accomplished, 3) focus on making this website into a great spot to share Nanaquaket and Bridgeport History, Memories, and Fishing Tips for people to enjoy for more generations to come in beautiful Tiverton, RI.
